How to use Spectrum Ops

For Spectrum Tour & Travel drivers and office staff.

For drivers

Android: open the link the office sent, tap Download the app, then open the file. If the phone asks, allow installing from WhatsApp or the browser.
iPhone: open the link in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.

Type your mobile number and the 4-digit PIN the office gave you. You stay signed in after that.
To pick your own PIN: History, then Change PIN.

On Today, tap Start duty.
Take a clear photo of the odometer. The time, vehicle number and location are written on the photo by themselves.
Type the odometer reading and tap Start duty.

On Today, tap End duty, take the odometer photo, type the reading and tap End duty.
The end reading cannot be lower than the start reading.

Starting, ending and fuel all work with no network. The entry is saved on the phone with the time of the photo, and the top of Today shows waiting to send.
It sends by itself when the network is back. Open the app once when you have signal.
Do not uninstall the app or clear its data while something is waiting to send.

Tap Fuel, fill in the odometer, litres and amount, photograph the receipt and tap Save fuel fill.

A red not accepted note: tap it and tell the office what it says.
Camera or location blocked: open the phone's Settings > Apps > Spectrum Ops (or Chrome) > Permissions and allow Camera and Location.
Forgot the PIN or typed a wrong reading: call the office.

Today shows who is on duty right now, live.
Trips lists every duty with its two odometer photos.
Fleet shows every vehicle live from Fleetx.
Drivers: add a driver with their number, pick their vehicle, reset a PIN. The top shows who is using the app: green had a duty in the last 2 days, yellow signed in but no duty lately, red never signed in.
Fuel lists every fill with its receipt photo.
Alerts come when a vehicle crosses its daily km limit, also as a phone notification.
Settings downloads duties for any dates as a file that opens in Excel, and has Change PIN for your own PIN.
